Ljubljana, 12 October - Eventually it had to happen. Simultaneous presidential and local elections that actually have nothing in common, being completely separated by law. When presidential and general elections took place ten years ago, the former completely overshadowed the latter in the pre-election period; this time around, candidates for local elections are facing an even worse prospect. To some people, this fact may already seem unjustified, says Saturday's edition of the daily Delo.
