Slovenians Just Miss Out on a Medal at World Cycling Championships

Zolder, 13 October - Two Slovenian competitors just missed out on the medal places at the Road World Cycling Championships in Belgium. Andrej Hauptman, who was third at last year's championships, finished fourth and Zoran Klemencic was fifth in a sprint finish of the 256 km race on Sunday. The winner was Mario Cipollini of Italy in a time of 5:30.03.
