EU Funds Are Important for Companies in Candidate Countries, Says Int'l Conference
Brussels, 14 October - European finance sources are very useful to EU candidate countries, but drawing those funds can be difficult, mostly because of scarce information, stringent selection criteria, expensive drafting of projects and bureaucracy. This was said at Monday's two-day international conference on EU financing of companies from EU candidate countries, held at the European Parliament in Brussels by the Slovenian business research association (SBRA), the Nova Ljubljanska banka, and Slovenia's Economics Ministry.
