Slovenian Banks Boast Total Assets of EUR 18bn
Ljubljana, 15 October - Total assets of all Slovenian banks amounted to SIT 4130bn (EUR 18.06bn) at the end of June, increasing by a nominal 6.5 percent since the beginning of the year. Adjusted to inflation, the real growth over 31 December 2001 totals 1.7 percent, suggest data released by the Bank of Slovenia. Interestingly enough, eight banks saw a drop in their sheet assets, among them the three largest.
