Arhar Becomes Eighth Candidate, Joras Pulls Out

Ljubljana, 16 October - Former central bank governor France Arhar became the eighth candidate for the 10 November presidential elections on Wednesday. Meanwhile, self-styled campaigner for Slovenia's border with Croatia Josko Joras said he was pulling out from his bid to become president, as he had failed to get the necessary support for an official candidacy.
