Slovenian FM Comments on Iraq, NATO Support and Irish Referendum
Ljubljana, 16 October - If Slovenia is invited to NATO, the public support for membership will increase in the country, thought FM Dimitrij Rupel on Wednesday, adding that even now the support is sufficient. The minister also addressed the issue of Iraq, saying that "one-sided action of any force or super-power would be premature" and that a consensus should be reached in the United Nations. Rupel also answered to journalist questions about the upcoming Irish Nice Treaty referendum and Serbia's presidential elections.
