HSE Refuses to Meet Demand of Austrian Electricity Company

Ljubljana, 16 October - A demand by the Austrian electricity company Verbund requesting that Holding slovenske elektrarne (HSE), a holding of Slovenian power plants, and the Sava-river power plants Savske elektrarne buy off Verbund's 35-percent share in company Sava together with all the documents needed for the exploitation of hydro-electric power on the lower part of the Sava river was refused by Wednesday's supervisory board of HSE.
