Ljubljana, 17 October - Slovenia is about to join the Euro-Atlantic structures. The government is proud of the past ten years of statehood and the country's independent foreign policy. Slovenia has become a successful country with high reputation, foreign ministry officials like to say. But the question arises whether Slovenia's foreign policy does in fact make its own decisions on joining the EU and NATO. Indeed, it would be hard to agree with such a bold statement as final decisions in both cases rest exclusively in Brussels, daily Delo writes on Thursday.
