Chess Olympiad to Welcome Record Number of Players

Bled, 17 October - A record number of players is to attend the 35th Chess Olympiad at Slovenian lake resort Bled between 25 October and 11 November. The men are to come from 142 different countries and the women from one hundred countries, so over 2,100 participants, journalists and escorts are expected in northwestern Slovenia.
