16 State Aid Programmes to Be Implemented also after EU Accession
Ljubljana, 17 October - A supplementary programme for state aids that Slovenia intends to allocate after accession to the EU was adopted by the government on Thursday. Thus, 16 different types of state aid - especially in the fields of economics, environment and culture - will be included in Slovenia's EU accession treaty. All other types of state aids that Slovenia should wish to allocate after EU accession will have to be agreed upon with the European Commission. Also at its session today, the government appointed Bojan Suvorov director of the Agency for Regional Development.
