Finance: "EU Has Plans B, C, and Perhaps Some More"

Ljubljana, 18 October - The Irish will redecide on the Nice Treaty ratification on Saturday. The deadline for the ratification runs out at the end of the year, while in the case of a potential Irish no, the EU enlargement process would optimistically be delayed a few months or several years in the worst-case scenario, speculates Friday's edition of Finance. According to the business daily, well-informed sources know that in the case of an Irish no-vote, the EU not only has a plan B, but also a plan C and perhaps even some more.
