Speaker Pahor Pleased with Irish Yes Vote; Opposition Party Says More Work Ahead
Ljubljana, 21 October - By supporting EU enlargement, the Irish voters enabled the candidate countries, including Slovenia, to wrap up the project of integration into the European family of nations, Parliament Speaker Borut Pahor showed his optimism at the beginning of the parliament's October session on Monday. The leaders of the opposition New Slovenia (NSi), meanwhile, at a press conference drew attention to the fact that much work still needs to be done.
