Impetus of Irish Yes Will Do Away With Enlargement Reservations, PM Believes

Ljubljana, 21 October - After the Irish Yes vote to the ratification of the Nice treaty, Slovenia is now waiting for the adoption of EU positions on the financial issues in the accession talks, which is expected at the upcoming Brussels summit, PM Janez Drnovsek said Monday in a questions-and-answers session in parliament. Asked about further possible hurdles to EU enlargement, Drnovsek pointed to the government crisis in the Netherlands over differences about EU enlargement.
