European Parliamentarians Hold Favourable Views on Latest Enlargement Report
Strasbourg, 21 October - The European Parliament's foreign affairs committee discussed and favoured on Monday the draft of the second 2002 parliamentary report on enlargement, together with assessment on the progress for all 13 EU applicant countries. Individual candidates were not discussed today, while some MEPs suggested that the European Parliament should express expectation that the EU candidates also running for NATO memberships should be invited to NATO in Prague in November.
