Presidential Candidates Firm about Staying in the Battle

Ljubljana, 21 October - All of the eight candidates for the presidential elections who attended Monday's head-to-head debate at the national radio are determined to have their names on the ballot on 10 November, as none of them said they would withdraw their candidacies, which they can do by midnight today. Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek, who is also running for the presidential office, did not attend the debate as he had other obligations.
