Lek Takeover Developments Echo in the Press
Ljubljana, 22 October - Two Slovenian dailies comment upon the final sell-off of the leading Slovenian pharmaceuticals Lek. Ljubljana-based Dnevnik looks at the purchase from the perspective of future development of Lek and compares it with the path taken by its rival Krka. Leading Slovenian daily Delo, on the other hand, discusses the meaning of national interest in the purchase with regard to the role of two largest Lek shareholders, the state-run Pension Fund Management (KAD) and the Restitution Fund (SOD).
