High-Profile Linguist Cautions against Degradation of Slovenian

Ljubljana, 22 October - Linguist and grammarian Joze Toporic - a recognised authority on the Slovenian language - is concerned about the position of the Slovenian language while Slovenia is integrating into the EU. He has therefore suggested that a special act be adopted in parliament to protect Slovenian in all fields.
