MPs Expected to Vote on European General Elections Bill on Friday
Ljubljana, 22 October - The bill on electing Slovenian MPs to the European Parliament could be voted through on Friday, as MPs have not added any amendments to the bill in the second reading on Tuesday. The adoption of the bill - coupled with Slovenia' planned accession in 2004 - will pave the way for elections to the European Parliament and thus Slovenia's institutional integration into Europe.
