SLOVENJ GRADEC - The central national celebration of the World UN Day. The opening address of the event, staged on the eve of World UN Day, is to be delivered by Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek.

LJUBLJANA - Chief-of-Staff of the Italian Armed Forces, General Rolando Mosca Moschini is to be received by President Milan Kucan and Defence Minister Anton Grizold on the final day of his two-day visit to Slovenia.

NOVO MESTO - Drug maker Krka is to host a press conference to mark the opening of a new R&D centre.
