Slovenian Minority in Italy Appeals to Italian Ministers

Trieste, 22 October - After the decision of the Italian government to halve the funds allocated to cultural institutions of the Slovenian minority, both minority umbrella organisations - the Slovenian Cultural and Economic Association (SKGZ) and the Council of Slovenian Organisation (SSO) - addressed a letter of protest on Tuesday to Italian Parliamentary Relations Minister Carlo Giovanardi and Regional Affairs Minister Enrico La Loggia.
