Slovenia Should not Be Allowed in EU with N-Plant, Says Head of Carinthia

Zagreb, 23 October - Slovenia should not get formally into the EU until it shuts down the nuclear power plant in Krsko, Carinthian Governor General Joerg Haider was quoted as saying by the latest edition of Croatian weekly Novi Globus. He told the paper that the issue is being solved "step by step", but the "problem lies with Slovenia, which makes one step forward and two steps back".
