Novartis Already Holds 65% of Lek, Says Radio

Ljubljana, 23 October - Some 65 percent of pharma company Lek has already been acquired by Swiss bidder Novartis so far, reported Radio Slovenija on Wednesday, quoting Lek chairman Metod Dragonja. Pharmaceutical giant Novartis, previously stating that the takeover would be successful if it gets at least 51 percent of Lek's stock, has not confirmed the information. The takeover bid at SIT 105,000 (EUR 459) for all Lek shares stands until 4 November.
