Austria Lifts Defence Iron Curtain off Slovenia's Border
Bleiburg, 23 October - The Austrian armed forces started removing the last piece of heavy artillery from the Austrian-Slovenian border on Tuesday. A canon with the range of 28 kilometres was deployed on a hidden spot upon the Haberberg mountain very near the Slovenian border some time during the 1970's, a radio report said.
