PM Drnovsek Cautiously Optimistic About Brussels Summit
Brussels, 24 October - Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek said Thursday that he is only guardedly optimistic about the possibility that the 15 EU members would reach an agreement on the financial aspect of enlargement at the Brussels summit, which starts later today. His optimism stems from his "conviction that it is necessary for the EU to find a solution," he said after attending a meeting of the European Liberal Democrats (ELDR).
