Amended Citizenship Act is no Answer for the "Erased"
Ljubljana, 26 October - The changes to the citizenship act adopted by parliament on Friday are not adequate, stressed the association of Slovenian inhabitants that were struck out from Slovenia's population register in 1992. According to the association, the amendment only covers up the mistakes the Slovenian state made by erasing 29,000 people from the register, but does not solve the issue that has been dragging on for a decade.
