UNHCR Welcomes Amendments to the Citizenship Act
Ljubljana, 28 October - The office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) on Monday welcomed the amendments to the act on citizenship, which were passed by parliament last week. The amendments bring modern and positive changes that will simplify the naturalisation procedure for persons with a recognized refugee status, persons without citizenship and other potentially vulnerable groups, the UNHCR office wrote in a press release.
