Chess Olympiad: Russians Continue Winning Streak

Bled, 28 October - Defending champions Russia had an easy job with India in Monday's third round of the 35th Chess Olympiad. With Gary Kasparov, they won with a convincing 3:1 and now top the scoreboard with ten points together with Cuba, Poland and Georgia. The blockbuster in the women's competition and one of the highlights of the Olympiad was the match between reigning champions China and third-seeded Russia, which the former won with 2:1.
