The Press Comments on the Final Stage of EU Accession Talks

Ljubljana/Maribor, 29 October - Monday's summit of candidate countries in Copenhagen and the final go-ahead to finance-related accession talks given in Brussels echo in the press on Tuesday. Both the Maribor-based Vecer and the leading Ljubljana daily Delo suggest that the candidates, although not satisfied with EU's negotiating positions, will try to get more from the EU than what was offered to them.
