BLED - Croatian FM Tonino Picula is to pay a one-day working visit to Slovenia on the invitation of his Slovenian counterpart Dimitrij Rupel. The pair is to discuss bilateral relations and sign a protocol on co-operation between the two ministries. Afterwards a press conference is to be held at 4 PM at Bled.

LJUBLJANA - The Cankarjev dom congress centre is to stage at 8 PM the main ceremony on the eve of state holiday Reformation Day on 31 October. The honourary speaker will be PM Janez Drnovsek, while President Milan Kucan is also to attend.

MARIBOR - The 37th Borstnik theatre festival is to wrap up at 9 PM with an award ceremony. This year's winner of the Borstnik Ring award is popular theatre actor Radko Polic.

LJUBLJANA - PM Janez Drnovsek is to hold a meeting at 10 AM with heads of the coalition parties in order to discuss the European Union.
