Respects Paid to the Dead a Day Prior to All Saints' Day
Kočevje/Teharje, 31 October - A day ahead of All Saints' Day when the dead are remembered, state officials laid wreaths on graves of those who were killed by Nazis and Fascists during WWII. In addition, a commemoration was held to remember victims of extrajudicial post-WWII killings. Moreover, those who died fighting in 1991 when a war broke out while Slovenia was seeking independence were also remembered on Thursday.
