Chess Olympiad: Russia Carry on, Georgia Widen Gap

Bled, 2 November - Russia seem unstoppable at the 35th Chess Olympiad. Although the team decided
to rest Garry Kasparov and Alexander Khalifman on Saturday once again, and the
Netherlands proved quite a hard nut to crack, the 2.5:1.5 outcome was almost
inevitable. The Georgian women reigned victorious once again, as China missed a
perfect opportunity to narrow the gap.
