Bled, 2 November - The eighth round of this year's Chess Olympiad was full of surprises, according to the organisers: the Guernsey team was nowhere to be found, the Russians gave R&R to their best two players, while the youngest team of the tournament, Azerbeidzhan, continue to win the hearts and souls at Bled. On top of that, the official website of the Olympiad has again suffered technical problems preventing updated information to be posted.
