Chess Olympiad: Will Turin Be the 2006 Venue?

Bled, 5 November - Italy presented its candidacy to stage the Chess Olympiad in 2006 in its northern city of Turin at Tuesday's press conference held at the 35th Olympiad at Slovenia's Bled. Italy is competing to stage the tournament against India and Estonia, which both have great chess traditions behind them.
