Former Bosnian President Undergoes Surgery in Ljubljana
Ljubljana, 5 November - Alija Izetbegovic, the former head of the presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina, had a pacemaker implanted at the Ljubljana medical centre on Tuesday due to arrhythmia. The 77-year old former president is feeling well after the surgery and is to leave the Ljubljana central hospital as early as Wednesday, said surgeon Tone Gabrijelcic, who performed the operation.
