STA Coverage on Thursday, 7 November
Ljubljana, 6 November - The STA English service will cover the following events on Thursday, 7 November:
BRUSSELS - Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to head for Brussels where he is to meet with European Commissioner for External Affairs Christopher Patten. Rupel and Patten are expected to discuss topical international issues, such as the Middle East crisis, Iraq and the International Criminal Court (ICC).
PRAGUE - Slovenian Agriculture Minister Franci But is scheduled to pay a one-day visit to the Czech Republic. Minister But is to partake in the meeting of agriculture ministers from the EU candidate countries and representatives of the European Commission.
LJUBLJANA - Slovenian opponents of NATO membership are to stage the first in a series of events to express their displeasure with the country's bid to join the Alliance. The "Days Against NATO" as they have been dubbed, will begin with a pageant around the Slovenian capital.
