LJUBLJANA - Before election calm begins Friday at midnight, the National Electoral Commission is to hold a press conference to outline the preparations for the 10 November presidential and local elections.

LJUBLJANA - All nine presidential candidates are to appear in two final head-to-head debates, one to begin on the national radio station at 5 PM and the other on the national TV station at 8 PM.

LJUBLJANA - To mark 10 years since Slovenia started receiving funds from the EU's pre-accession aid programme Phare, a conference is to be held by the Delegation of the European Commission in Ljubljana.
