FIDE Congress: Ilyumzhinov Stays on as FIDE President

Bled, 8 November - Kirsan N. Ilyumzhinov is the old new president of the World Chess Federation (FIDE)
unanimously voted Friday's general assembly of the 73rd FIDE Congress held at Slovenia's Bled. The candidacy of Ilyumzhinov, who has also recently been re-elected president of his home Kalmykia, has been uncontested at today's assembly.
