Election Calm Before Hectic Sunday

Ljubljana, 8 November - The election calm starting at midnight will mark the end of the election campaign ahead of Sunday's presidential and local elections. This will be the first time that both are carried out in the same year. Over 1.6 million voters will decide on the new president as well as new mayors and city councilors in 193 municipalities, while Italian, Hungarian and Romany communities will elect their special representatives to 22 local councils.
