EU Confirms Positions on Agriculture Accession Talks with Slovenia

Brussels, 8 November - The EU member sates have confirmed the positions on agriculture accession negotiations with Slovenia, which will serve as a base at Monday's second round of the final stage of accession talks, the EU Ministerial Council in Brussels said Friday. According to diplomatic sources, the EU has offered Slovenia higher suckler cow quotas and the categorisation of two wine-growing regions into the B wine zone.
