Bucar to Back Brezigar in Second Round

Ljubljana, 10 November - Commenting on the unofficial election results, presidential candidate France Bucar said that "they have to be taken as they are". If there is a run-off, Bucar will support Barbara Brezigar, who enjoys the support of the opposition New Slovenia (NSi) and Social Democrats (SDS). He explained his decision by reiterating that he had warned on several occasions of the danger of one political party having a monopoly in Slovenia.
