Results Hold Steady With Less Than Tenth of Vote to be Counted

Ljubljana, 10 November - As the count of today's presidential ballots draws to a close, PM Janez Drnovsek and supreme state prosecutor Barbara Brezigar continue to hold on to their firm lead over the remaining candidates as the run-off between them is all but officially confirmed. According to unofficial data from the National Election Commission, Drnovsek garnered 44.40 percent and Brezigar 31.16 percent with 92.12 percent of the popular vote counted.
