LJUBLJANA - Christoph Leitl, president of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce and head of the Eurochambers, the association of European chambers of commerce, is to pay a visit to Slovenia at the invitation of the president of Slovenia's Chamber of Commerce and Industry Jozko Cuk.

BRUSSELS - Minister of Education and Science Lucija Cok is expected to present her paper on the role of EU candidate countries in boosting European research work on the second day of three-day conference on Europe's research. The event has been organised by the European Commission.

LJUBLJANA - UN Special Rapporteur on Disability Bengt Lindqvist is scheduled to pay a visit to Slovenia to discuss with his host, Minister of Labour, Family and Social Affairs Vlado Dimovski, the status of the disabled people in Slovenia.

LJUBLJANA - Shareholders of pharmaceutical company Lek are to convene for a general assembly to adopt changes to the company's statute that would enable Swiss pharma company to complete the takeover deal.
