Milk Tests Are an Uncalled-for Burden for Farmers, KGZS Claims

Ljubljana, 12 November - The Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry (KGZS) finds the monthly milk tests for the presence of a banned antibiotic that are about to be introduced an unnecessary burden for farmers. While KGZS criticised Tuesday all those farmers who used the banned Chloramphenicol, it believes that the veterinary authorities had released the information about the use of the banned drug too soon. The farmers' representatives also commented on Slovenia's EU accession talks.
