Candidates to Contribute to EU Science and Research, Says Education Minister
Brussels, 12 November - EU candidate countries will contribute greatly to the formation and development of the European research environment with their strong potential in human resources. Indirectly they will also help achieve the Union's goal of becoming the most competitive economy in the world by 2010, Slovenian Education Minister Lucija Cok told a Brussels three-day conference of the sixth EU framework programme for science, research and development on Tuesday.
