Only Fourteen out of Twenty Mandated Romany Councilors Elected

Ljubljana, 12 November - The autochthonous Romany community living in Slovenia were able to elect their representatives into only fourteen municipal councils out of twenty, as mandated by the recently amended act on local self-government, at Slovenia's local elections on Sunday.
