EU's Latest Calculations Even Less Favourable for Slovenia
Ljubljana, 13 November - The EU's latest calculations on the financial provisions of enlargement, based on decisions reached at the Brussels summit, are even less favourable for future EU members. In the three years following the 2004 EU entry, the newcomers are thus to receive less money than envisioned in the autumn calculations, and six of them, including Slovenia, would get compensation payments to avoid becoming net payers immediately after accession.
