Mayors' Lobby in Parliamentary Benches Remains Strong

Ljubljana, 13 November - As many as a third of all MPs were running for mayoral offices in the first round of Slovenia's local elections last Sunday. Out of thirty MPs hopeful to become mayors, 13 secured the office in the first round, ten managed to qualify for the second round, while seven were out of the game.
