Cabinet to Examine Refunds to Farmers for Wasted Milk

Ljubljana, 14 November - Convening for the regular weekly session on Thursday, the Slovenian government is expected to take a decision on a proposal to allocate extraordinary aid to farmers who cannot deliver milk to dairies due to the discovery of a forbidden antibiotic in several milk samples. The cabinet is expected to approve EUR 436,000 of compensations to the "innocent" farmers, however, the "guilty" farmers are to pay for the damage eventually.
