FM Rupel Points to Slovenia's Demands in Accession Talks in Brussels

Brussels, 18 November - "Slovenia expects the accession negotiations to conclude at the Copenhagen summit in mid December with a balanced agreement acceptable to both sides," Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel said Monday at a meeting of EU foreign ministers with their counterparts from the ten candidate countries, who are to enter the EU in 2004. Rupel on the occassion pointed to the differences between Slovenia's demands and the current EU offer which are still great.
