Slovenia not Urged to Fight Corruption in the Final EP Report

Strasbourg, 20 November - Slovenia was given an overall positive assessment and was not not called to boost its fight against corruption, embezzlement and drug trafficking in a final report on the country's EU accession progress that the European Parliament (EP) adopted on Wednesday. While dismissing the report's amendment on corruption, MEPs on the other hand kept the amendment urging Slovenia to speed up the denationalisation process.
